7. Ketogenic diet
Another option is to try a ketogenic diet. Think of this as an even more extreme version of a low carb diet, which involves eating more fats and almost zero carbs.
This is a hard diet to stick to and there are health concerns regarding the effect of ketones in the body. It certainly isn’t a good idea for those suffering from diabetes already, who will already have higher levels of ketones.
But that said, a ketogenic diet is something that many people swear by and they can’t all be wrong. If you’re open-minded, look into it. Just be careful and consult with your doctor first.
