Apparently, an apple a day doesn’t just keep the doctor away. Research conducted by the Harvard School of Public Health found that those who ate five or more apples per week reduce the risk of developing diabetes by 23%. Not only are apples delicious, but they’re also insanely good for you.

They contain both soluble and insoluble fiber, 15 g of carbohydrates, and lots of other health benefits. Plus, you can use them to make a huge variety of dishes, including apple pie. If you are not currently including apples in your diet, then try to make sure that you have at least one a day from now on.
