2. Half of the Population Has Diabetes or Prediabetes

What is even more shocking is that the study found that almost half of the adults living in the United States either were diagnosed with diabetes or had prediabetes and what eventually get the disease.

This makes this illness an epidemic of staggering proportions. Prediabetes is a recognized medical condition where someone has consistently elevated blood sugar and is at a high risk to develop diabetes. Diabetes is caused by a poor diet and a lack of exercise most of the time, and that is certainly the case in the United States.
