This happens when the nerves are not able to properly send signals from the muscles to the brain, which results in the partial or total loss of feeling in various parts of the body, such as the feet, the hands, and the legs.
Diabetic neuropathy can also affect the vagina, as it contains a wealth of nerves. If this happens, the sexual drive can become significantly reduced.
