6. Cranberries
You probably already know that cranberries are delicious with holiday meals, especially turkey dinners. But did you know that they also can help you manage your diabetes better? Cranberries do a whole lot for your health.
They can help prevent urinary tract infections, reduce the risk of heart disease by lowering bad cholesterol, raising good cholesterol levels, and a whole lot more. Although you do get some benefit from canned cranberry sauce, the best way to eat these is raw. Just like blueberries, you can add them to your yogurt or use them in a variety of ways.
