5. Dizziness
Dizziness is actually a symptom that is usually associated with hypoglycemia rather than hyperglycemia. In these cases, the diabetic may have taken too much insulin, which caused the blood sugar levels in their body to plummet suddenly.
This means that the brain isn’t getting enough glucose all of a sudden, and that can lead to dizziness and fainting. But there are some cases where hyperglycemia can cause dizziness. This works the same way, where high blood sugar levels are to blame.
