5. Pale skin
Your skin may also suddenly become pale when you have low blood sugar. That’s because your body doesn’t have enough energy to complete the functions that it does on a normal basis, including creating red blood cells.
When your red blood cells are depleted as a result of low blood sugar, your skin can become pale. The paleness resembles what you might look like if you were plagued with the flu or another illness.
