6. Severe headaches
You may also develop a severe headache when your blood sugar levels dip. Under normal circumstances, a headache isn’t harmful; however, if you have diabetes and are taking a medication that increases insulin production, it could be a sign of low blood sugar.
A headache that is associated with hypoglycemia usually comes on suddenly and it can be so severe that it feels as if it is a migraine. If you are experiencing such a headache, it could be a sign that your blood sugar is low.
