5. Fruit Is Problematic
Although fruit contains natural sugars, they are in a form that can be safely consumed by diabetics, but in certain portions. Diabetics may not be able to eat as much fruit as those with regular blood sugar levels, but they can eat a half a banana, half a cup of mango, or a few dried fruits without having difficulty.
Even though fruits contain no processed sugars, that doesn’t mean that they are completely safe. Just use caution and eat small amounts of fruit. Be careful that the dried fruit you eat does not contain added sugar.
