9. Get outside
Not only does walking around or playing sports mean you’re exercising, but it will also mean you’re getting more vitamin D. Vitamin D is good news because this vitamin which in truth acts more like a master hormone is responsible for managing many other hormones in the body and many more effects.
This includes helping the body to lower blood sugar levels!
Many of us are deficient in vitamin D, so if you feel sluggish and if you are noticing early signs of prediabetes in particular – get outside and get some sun!
