4. Decreased Energy Levels
You probably already know that diabetes means that your body has a difficult time breaking down the glucose in your blood. That glucose in your blood is what is used for energy. This energy runs your body processes such as breathing and heart rate and contributes to your overall metabolism.
But when you are not able to convert that glucose successfully, then you start to feel tired. If you notice that you were experiencing low energy levels, feel fatigued after getting a full night sleep and in general, feel lethargic, talk to your doctor.
