6. Fatigue
If you have already read signs one through five, then you are likely catching on to the overall physiological system error that is likely to cause this symptom of high blood sugar. Fatigue, as you probably guessed, is the result of your body not utilizing the sugar that is in your blood. This may look like Joe being short of breath after only climbing one flight of stairs, or Sally struggling to get out of bed in the morning for work.
This fatigue likely will last throughout the day, unrelenting. The fatigue is also caused by a person’s blood becoming sludgy due to the high concentration of sugar. This slows down circulation. Cells are not getting the oxygen and nutrients they need to function.
