3. Trouble Concentrating
Trouble concentrating is sometimes caused by high blood sugar levels. The list of imbalances and system malfunctions that are caused by high blood sugar can be attentionally distracting. But there is also a physical basis for having trouble concentrating when due to high blood sugar levels. Your body isn’t using sugar properly.
When your body isn’t metabolizing and utilizing the sugar in its system, your brain will not be able to function properly.
It will struggle to fire (communicate) between neurons when attempting to transfer information. Also, reaction times and processes will slow. All of this leads to the outer appearance of a person seeming somewhat detached and unfocused.
