3. Slow Reflexes
Slow reflexes are going to be another cause that you have to look out for, but they are also going to be one of those causes of diabetes that are difficult to see, particularly with younger children.
Since all children have problems with their reflexes when they are growing up, you have to be very discerning when you are watching your child, and be able to understand the difference between normal growing pains and actual difficulty with reflexes that could be caused by diabetes.
If you have any questions, ask your pediatrician and they will be able to advise you as to whether or not your child’s slow reflexes are being caused by a blood sugar problem.
