9 Signs and Symptoms of Diabetes in Children

2. Loss of Balance

A loss of balance is another symptom of diabetes that you should be aware of. Children who know type I diabetes often find that they have more trouble than other children at their same development stage maintaining their balance. When a child is very young, this can be very difficult to diagnose.

If you are noticing that your child has balance problems, look it up and see if they should be experiencing them at that stage, and if not, then get your child tested at your pediatrician’s office.
