2. An excessive, intense thirst
Another hallmark symptom that is associated with diabetes insipidus is excessive and intense thirst. The desire to drink can become so severe that it might seem unquenchable, despite how much water you consume.
Even after drinking a large volume of water, you may feel as if you have not had anything to drink. Due to the increased intake of fluids, the need to urinate will be made worse, and so will the loss of water in your body. If you feel like you are never quenched, despite how much you drink, you could have diabetes insipidus.
