If you love guacamole, you are in luck, because avocados are one of the big foods on our list that will help you to manage or prevent diabetes. This is according to the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, and it shows that when you eat good fats like the ones that are in avocados and you have a much-reduced chance of developing type II diabetes.

An avocado has about 16 g of fat per fruit, along with 2 g of fiber in 2 g of carbohydrates. Plus, there are lots of uses for avocados other than guacamole.
