But tomatoes contain lycopene, something that leads to decreased risk for heart disease and diabetes.
Plus, tomatoes contain vitamins A and C, help prevent certain cancers, and have a number of other health benefits. Whenever you have a sandwich, pasta dish, or anything else, consider adding a tomato.
