Broccolette is a cruciferous vegetable created by the hybridization of the classic well known and loved broccoli with the Chinese kale plant – Gai Lan. The product of such a marriage produced a sweeter crispier version of broccoli while looking still similar.

It is absolutely delicious… if you like greens at all. It makes a great snack (put it in a baggie, throw it in your bag to go), and is light to carry on the road. It is super dense in all goodness – phytochemicals, antioxidants, fiber, glucosinolates, minerals, & vitamins!
