3. Frequent Urination
One of the main jobs of the kidneys is to absorb sugar from the system. However, in diabetes, the kidneys are not able to absorb that sugar fast enough and thus it builds up in the system. This results in a situation where you feel the need to urinate much more frequently and you might also find that you urinate more each time you go.
You might experience nocturnal enuresis too. This means that you are likely to wake in the night needing the toilet and that in turn means that you can’t sleep through. Not only is this frustrating and unpleasant, but it can also make it hard for you to restore your energy.
