2. Nocturnal Enuresis

This is a condition that causes an individual to wake up during the night needing the toilet. This is simply another symptom of not being able to remove sugar from the blood and attempting to do so more.

If you suffer from nocturnal enuresis, then you can consider this to be a sign that the problem is caused by diabetes and not something more innocuous like simply drinking too many fluids. If you’re going to the toilet throughout the night, you know you’re doing so on a relatively empty bladder.
