The second tip is to find a location in your home where you can put your glucose meter permanently. This is going to be the place that you will go whenever you need to check your blood sugar. Glucose meters are rather small, so you definitely don’t want to allow it to get put anywhere because it may take a long time to find it again.

Find a place, make sure you put in that place every single time you use it and tell all family members not to move it from that space. This will prevent you from having an emergency simply because you couldn’t find your meter.
