Because diabetes can slow the blood flow to all of the various organs in the body, you may notice nerve damage or degeneration. One of the most common areas where this can happen in the eye. But in the early stages of diabetes, you also have eye problems in the form of blurry vision.

This happens because glucose builds up in the eye, which makes it a warning sign that you need to watch out for and get tested. This blurriness will go away once your blood sugar has been returned to normal levels.
